It’s time to start planning the HO-HO-HO finery for you and your horse! Every year Clifton Horse Society (CHS) kicks off the holiday season by parading our horses through the town. CHS will host the annual Holiday Procession through the charming town of Clifton, Virginia the Saturday before Christmas, December 18th. The route will follow Main Street to Chapel Road, then Water Street to School Street and back to Main Street. Costume judging and sharing refreshments with the town folks who come to admire us and “get in the holiday spirit” will occur after the procession in the floodplain where the trailers are parked across from the intersection of Clifton Road and Newman Road. Hard hats are strongly recommended for riders and are required for anyone under age 18.
