Bluebell Trail Ride

Join CHS for a lovely ride through Bull Run Regional Park. If Mother Nature cooperates, you will see carpets of Bluebells and Spring Beauties at their peak. If you have never done this ride, the natural beauty will impress you. Be sure to bring your cameras. Children are welcome, but in consideration of the other riders, they must be accompanied by an adult, be on their own mounts, wear helmets, and must be able to control their horses. For insurance purposes, leave dogs at home and no ponying horses/ponies.

Riders will meet in the soccer field parking lot (immediate left after you pass the Gatehouse, follow road until you see brown Soccer Field sign, turn left and drive back to the parking lot). Be ready to ride out at 10:30 a.m. You must show a current negative Coggins, or you will not be able to ride. The ride will last approximately two hours. If enough riders are signed up, we will go out in multiple groups. Remember, this is generally a sightseeing ride; so the pace for all the groups will be leisurely! Bring a bag lunch and chair, and we'll have a socially distanced picnic together after the ride.

RSVPs are required in case of cancellation. At this time of year, if the trails are really muddy, we will probably cancel. Rain date is April 14th at 10:30AM. Hard hats and shoes with heels are highly recommended…riders under 18 MUST wear hard hats.
